CHICAGO — Burglars have forced their way into University Village and Pilsen apartment buildings through rear doors or windows, according to a police alert.
Police issued a warning to area residents after four similar incidents in the last week.
Those incidents occurred at the following times and places:
• between 5:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of West 13th Place
• between 5:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of West 13th Place
• at about 1 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of West Cullerton Street
• between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of West Cullerton Street
There is no description of the burglars.
