PILSEN — Police are warning of an armed robber who hit two businesses in Pilsen last month.
In both cases, the robber pulled a handgun and demanded cash.
The first was at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 1600 block of West 16th Street, near Acero Bartolomé de Las Cases School. The second was at 3:14 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 1900 block of West 21st Street in the Heart of Chicago.
The suspected robber is described as a man with an olive complexion in his early 20s. He is between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 and weighs around 140-150 pounds.
In one case, he was described as wearing a white T-shirt. He was also described as wearing camouflage shorts, a beige bandana with green money signs, a black baseball cap and a black tank top.
Police advise people to remain calm if confronted by an assailant and remember any unique physical characteristics like scars or tattoos.
