CHICAGO — A cabdriver stole a 50-year-old woman's bags at Union Station early Tuesday, police said.

At 12:15 a.m., the woman was at the Greyhound bus station and got into a cab, police said. The driver took the woman to Union Station in the 200 block of South Canal, where he told her to pay him.

The driver then asked for more money from the woman. She tried to get out of the car, but the rear door wouldn't open, police said.

The woman managed to get out of the car, and the driver took off with her bags, police said.
