Duo Robbing People In Pilsen With Gun, Knife, Police Say

CHICAGO — A man and woman are robbing people in Pilsen, police said.

During two robberies this week, the duo walked up to their victims, took out a gun and knife and robbed them, according to a Chicago Police Department community alert.

The robberies occurred:

• At 10:15 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of South Laflin Street

• At 5:50 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of South Paulina Street

The man was described as Hispanic, 20-30 years old, 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-9 and 140-180 pounds, police said. He had short, black hair and wore a black baseball cap and black T-shirt.

The woman is 20-25 years old and wore a white T-shirt and black tank top, police said.
