CHICAGO — Shootings have killed two people and wounded nine since Thursday, police said.

• At 3:21 p.m. Thursday, two men were shot and killed in North Lawndale.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 12:30 a.m. Friday, a 31-year-old man was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The man was in the 1000 block of West 103rd Street when he got into an argument with someone who took out a gun and fired shots.

The man was hit in his buttocks and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:35 p.m. Thursday, a 35-year-old man was shot in Chicago Lawn, police said. The man was in the 6500 block of South Maplewood Avenue when someone shot him in his legs.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The man was uncooperative with investigators, a police source said, and what led up to the shooting was unknown.

• At 9:50 p.m., a 13-year-old girl was wounded when gunmen opened fire on the car she was in in West Englewood.

• Also at 9:50 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in South Deering, police said. The man was in the 2400 block of East 106th Street when someone fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his chest and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 5:03 p.m., a 37-year-old man was shot in West Pullman, police said. The man was in a car in the 12300 block of South Union Avenue when someone walked up to the car and fired shots.

The man was hit in his face and he was taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 5 p.m., a man was shot and a 9-year-old boy hurt by broken glass during an incident where officers opened fire on a gunman in Garfield Park, police said. It wasn't immediately clear if the wounded man had been shot by police or the alleged gunman.

• At 10:51 a.m., three people were shot in North Lawndale, police said. The victims were standing on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of South Central Park Avenue when an SUV went by and someone inside the car fired shots.

A 19-year-old man was hit twice in his abdomen; a 30-year-old man was hit in his chin, left shoulder and thigh; and a 35-year-old man was hit in his right. The three were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
