CHICAGO — A 41-year-old man was shot and wounded in Pilsen early Thursday, police said.
At 1 a.m., the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of South Peoria Street when someone fired shots at him, police said.
The man was hit in his chest and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
No further information was immediately available.
