CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was shot to death in Little Village on Wednesday, police said.
At 8:32 a.m., officers were called to the 2400 block of South Sacramento Avenue for a report of shots fired, police said. They found the man in an alley.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The man was identified as Victor Davila Jr., of the 2100 block of South Sawyer, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. He was pronounced dead at 9:16 a.m. and an autopsy showed he died from a gunshot wound in his back in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
