City Press Juice & Bottle Bringing Superfoods, Cleanses To Lincoln Square

LINCOLN SQUARE — City Press Juice & Bottle is bringing its organic cold pressed juices, superfood blends and cleanse packages to the former home of Earth's Healing Cafe on Montrose Avenue, according to owners.

Husband-and-wife team Angela and Anthony Maicki are aiming for a September opening at 1942 W. Montrose Ave. of what will be the third City Press outpost, after locations in Lakeview and Wicker Park, Angela Maicki said via email.

The juice bar also serves housemade raw foods and goji bowls.

"It's an inviting neighborhood with a great sense of community," Maicki said of the Montrose location.

"We saw that there was a void of organic cold pressed juice offerings and we knew we had to change that," she said.

City Press Juice & Bottle was founded in 2014 as City Harvest. The company has plans to expand to more stores within the next year, Maicki said.
