Lolla's Hottest Fashion Trend Friday? Sleeves

GRANT PARK — Here's what sweater weather looks like at Lollapalooza.

Hockey sweaters largely replaced the typical throwback NBA jerseys seen at summer music festivals with Friday's fall-like temperatures in Grant Park.

While many Lolla-goers still felt it right to bare arms, many others donned long sleeves with Friday night's temperatures expected not to exceed 70 degrees.

The forecast calls for a chilly August night, but many festival attendees came very prepared. Here's a sample of some of Friday's more notable looks:

Daniel Morales brought his floral overalls to Lollapalooza on Friday.

Anissa Fierke of Kenosha, Wis. says she bought this sweatshirt at Wal-Mart.

Henry Schmidt from north suburban Libertyville calls this getup his "rager suit."

Claudia from Midway calls this a "holographic jacket."

Associating yourself with Russia isn't cool when you're holding national public office, but this national team sweater suits Luke Kraus of suburban Tinley Park.

Mid-2000s NHL sweaters were the new 1990s NBA jersey Friday at Lolla. Here's Haley Hrosic of Valparaiso, Ind. repping an Evgeni Malkin Penguins jersey.

Ariana Munez is keeping a clean silhouette with matching burgundy pants and jacket.
