CHICAGO — A 54-year-old man was found dead in an apparent homicide in Little Village early Monday, police said.
At 1:50 a.m., a friend found the man lying in an abandoned building where homeless people sleep in the 2700 block of South Komensky Avenue, police said. The friend left to flag down officers.
Officers went to the man and found him lying face-up, bloodied and showing "signs of trauma," police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one was in custody.
