CHICAGO — Shootings in Little Village have wounded two people since Saturday, police said.
• At 4:40 a.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old man was walking in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when two people walked out of a gangway and fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his right leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
• At 3:46 p.m. Saturday, a 27-year-old man was standing in the 2400 block of South St. Louis Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The man's left ankle was grazed by a bullet and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
