CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was shot in Heart of Chicago on Sunday night, police said.
At 8:45 p.m., the man was getting into a car in the 1900 block of West Cermak Road when someone walked up, took out a gun and fired shots, police said.
The man, who police think was not the intended target, was hit in his right hand. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in good condition.
No one was in custody.
