NORTH CENTER — Tour the gorgeous landscapes of more than 40 North Center gardens Sunday, then present your garden walk map at participating bars and restaurants for food and drink deals.
The self-guided walk runs from noon-5 p.m. Sunday, with a suggested admission donation of $5, free for seniors. Check in at Bell Elementary, 3730 N. Oakley St., to pick up a map of participating homes.
An opening and closing gong ceremony will take place at noon and 5 p.m. at 2112 W. Grace St. The Taoist ritual prepares the earth for activity and the summer solstice, according to organizers.
