CHICAGO — A person was shot in the Near West Side on Wednesday night, police said.
At 7:54 p.m., a man or boy was in the 2400 block of West Jackson Boulevard when several people walking outside fired shots at him, police said.
The victim was hit in his upper right leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said. The attackers ran away.
The victim's age was not immediately available.
No one was in custody.
