HYDE PARK — The Hyde Park Historical Society will share the progress on restoration of its historic home in a former cable car building Saturday.

The historical society started work May 1 to restore the masonry on the exterior of its headquarters and from 2-4 p.m. Saturday will share how far it has gotten at 5529 S. Lake Park Ave.

The restoration is being funded through donations from neighbors and masonry contractor Jan Glowacki ,and historical society member Jack Spicer will lead the discussion.
