LITTLE ITALY — Three attackers stole a man's car keys — and then his car — as he walked near Arrigo Park Sunday, one of two robberies reported blocks apart in Little Italy this week, police said.

At about 8:45 p.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man's vehicle was stolen from the 700 block of South Ada Street in Little Italy, confirmed Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The victim was approached by three men who demanded his keys, police said. The victim gave the men his keys and they stole the vehicle from where it was parked, police said.

The victim was beaten by the suspects, a source said.

No one is in custody in the incident and Area Central detectives are investigating.

At about 9:18 p.m. Monday, a strong-arm robbery was reported in the 900 block of South Racine Avenue, a source said. The suspect is described as a black man, about 20 years old, 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds.
