LOGAN SQUARE — Donate to Richard S. Yates Elementary School this weekend — and have some fun while you're at it.
The school, 1839 N. Richmond St., is hosting a fundraiser 4-9 p.m. Saturday with multicultural food, games, magic tricks and performances from a salsa ensemble and an orchestra.
"Taste of Yates," which was organized by parents and teachers, will help pay for school programming, which has been cut in recent years due to city-wide budget cuts.
Admission is free. Food and drink tickets cost $1 each.
