NEAR WEST SIDE — Police are alerting Near West Side and West Loop residents after three robberies were reported in an area north of Union Park last month.
In the incidents, reported between April 11 and April 26, a group of young men approach victims, beat them and rob them, according to Chicago Police. In one incident, the robbers were armed with handguns, police said.
The robberies occurred:
• At 1:53 a.m. April 11 in the 300 block of North Ogden Avenue
• At 10:03 p.m. April 19 in the 1500 block of West Fulton Street
• At 11 p.m. April 26 in the 1500 block of West Hubbard Street
