CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded seven people since Wednesday, police said.

• At 2:59 a.m. Thursday, a 22-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was in the 4300 block of West Cermak Road when he was shot in his arm and abdomen. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

The incident was possibly a robbery, police said, and a person of interest was being questioned.

• At 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 28-year-old man was shot in Burnside, police said. The man got into a fight with another man in the 800 block of East 89th Place, and the other man took out a gun and fired shots.

The victim was hit in his chest and right arm and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The victim was a documented gang member, a police source said, and he was uncooperative with officers.

• At 7:27 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was in the 8800 block of South Parnell Avenue when he was shot in his head.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 6:38 p.m., a 22-year-old man and 35-year-old man were shot in Little Village.

• At 6:21 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Morgan Park. Another man at the scene of the shooting tried to drive away and crashed into an apartment building.

• At 8:37 a.m., a 27-year-old woman was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The woman was sitting in a parked car in the 1100 block of West 105th Street when a black car drove up and someone inside fired shots.

The woman was hit in her back and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise noted.
