Spotlight Dance Academy
CHICAGO — The owners of Spotlight Dance Academy are celebrating the grand opening of their Norwood Park studio.
The academy, 7036 W. Higgins Road, offers five separate ballet classes for kids between 1½ and 11 years old, including a "tots in tutus" program that teaches toddlers "interactive dances to beloved children's songs in an imaginative atmosphere," according to its website.
The studio also offers contemporary, jazz, hip-hop and tap classes for youths as old as 17.
But the school isn't just for kids — adults who want to keep in shape or pick up a new skill can enroll in programs including yoga, zumba, hip-hop fusion and "ballet barre boot camp."
