LOGAN SQUARE — Beginning Sunday, there will be a new spot in Logan Square to enjoy brunch and micheladas.

Quiote, a multilevel Mexican restaurant and mezcaleria at 2456 N. California Ave., is launching brunch service from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

On the menu are dishes like avocado salad toast, which comes with a poached egg and sourdough bread from Publican Quality Bread, pork belly hash with soft scrambled eggs, salsa mocha and mustard greens and chilaquiles with carne adobada.

For drinks, patrons can expect Mexican cocktails, including three different types of micheladas and leche de chapulin, or milk punch.

The latter, which was crafted by beverage director Bobby Baker while working in Oaxaca, contains clarified milk punch with chocolate, Chartreuse, pineapple, lime and sal de chapulin, or grasshopper's salt.

Quiote is accepting reservations for Easter brunch. Typically, though, the restaurant will not take brunch reservations.
