HYDE PARK — Starting Saturday, a gaggle of robots will invade the Museum of Science and Industry for the annual robotics week.
Robotics experts will be on hand at the museum, 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive, to demonstrate the various contraptions that skitter and cruise around the main rotunda.
This year, robots include Paro, a furry baby seal robot used as a stand-in for a therapeutic pet, and Sphero robots, small balls that visitors can drive around an open track.
The event is included with general admission to the museum, but the times for demonstrations vary.
The best days to catch the different robots are Saturday and Sunday and April 14-15.
