SOUTH SHORE — A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg Tuesday afternoon in South Shore, Chicago Police said.
At about 3:03 p.m. Tuesday, a man approached the 20-year-old victim on foot in the 7000 block of South Dorchester Avenue and fired shots at the victim, hitting him in the leg, according to police.
The victim transported himself to Jackson Park Hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
No one is in custody and Area Central detectives are investigating the shooting.
