LOGAN SQUARE — The annual Logan Square Arts Festival is set for June 23-25.

At this year's fest, which is in its ninth year, there will be an expanded second stage on Milwaukee Avenue programmed by Elastic Arts Foundation.

Fest-goers can also expect food, beer from Revolution Brewing, cocktails from the folks behind The Whistler and, of course, an array of local art vendors.

The music lineup will feature METZ, Sad13 and Circuit Des Yeux. More bands will be released in the coming weeks.

Like last year, a portion of each ticket sold will benefit the neighborhood group Logan Square Preservation.

“Last year Logan Square Preservation was able to complete our comprehensive Boulevard Improvement Plan thanks to the funds raised at the Arts Festival,” Andrew Schneider, president of Logan Square Preservation, said in a prepared statement.

“This year and in the coming years we’re planning to devote $10,000 annually toward tree-planting and we’re hoping a significant portion of that comes from the generosity of festival-goers.”

Tickets are a $5 suggested donation. The fest will go from 5-10 p.m. each day.
