Pilsen Homes Targeted By Burglars Again, Police Warn

PILSEN — Chicago Police are alerting Pilsen residents after three home burglaries in the neighborhood were reported in a one-week period. 

In the incidents, reported in late February and early March, burglars entered the victim's home, police said. 

The burglaries occurred: 

• between 3 p.m.-11:50 p.m. Feb. 26 in the 2000 block of West 19th Street

• at 8:40 p.m. March 1 in the 1800 Block of South Ashland Avenue 

• between 6 p.m.-7 a.m. March 5 or 6 in the 2100 Block of West 21st Place 

Police did not have further information on the crimes or suspects. 

The latest alert comes after three home burglaries were reported in the neighborhood earlier in February.
