WRIGLEY FIELD — The Backstreet Boys and Nelly will join Florida Georgia Line in an Aug. 12 concert at Wrigley Field.

Chris Lane will also perform.

Ticket information was not immediately available.

Florida Georgia Line is a country music duo consisting of Floridian Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard from Georgia. They released their third album, "Dig Your Roots" in August 2016.

The pair is launching their first stadium tour Friday, with shows at Fenway Park in Boston and Hershey Park Stadium in Pennsylvania. Concerts closer to Chicago include Target Field in Minneapolis, Klipsch Music Center in Indianapolis and Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Sometimes referred to as "bro-country," Florida Georgia Line cruised to fame as the vocal duo of the year during the 2013 Country Music Awards. Their "Cruise" remix featuring Nelly also won the 2013 single of the year from the American Music Awards. Last year, the AMAs named them the favorite country duo or group, as well.

Pop fans — particularly Millennials — are more likely to recognize the Backstreet Boys and Nelly. The beloved '90s boy band has sold over 130 million records and remains one of the best-selling music artists.

After testy relationships within the band forced a brief hiatus, the Backstreet Boys reunited in 2004 and have continued to produce music 20 years after their debut. The group collaborated with Florida Georgia Line on the song "God, Your Mama, and Me" last year and recently announced a 2017 Las Vegas residency.

Nelly is one of the best-selling rap artists, with Grammy Awards for best male rap solo performance and best rap performance by a duo or group for his hits "Hot In Herre" and "Shake Ya Tailfeather."

Chris Lane's solo career launched in 2014 with the debut single "Broken Windshield View." Other hits like "Fix" and "For Her" have climbed the country radio charts over the past year.

As a concert venue, Wrigley Field most frequently books country musicians and classic rock acts. Billy Joel has performed there more than any other artist, with shows every year since 2014 and a 2009 performance with Elton John.

Other repeat performers include Jimmy Buffett, Pearl Jam, Zac Brown Band and James Taylor.

Along with Buffett's July 15 show, the 2017 summer concert series so far includes Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (June 29), Dead & Company (June 30 and July 1), James Taylor with Bonnie Raitt (July 17), Billy Joel (Aug. 11), Green Day (Aug. 24), Lady Gaga (Aug. 25) and Zac Brown Band (Aug. 26).
