WRIGLEY FIELD — Returning to Wrigley Field for the third time, Zac Brown Band will play an August show at the Friendly Confines.

The "Welcome Home" 2017 tour will bring the Atlanta-based band back to Chicago on Aug. 26, two years after its last show at the ballpark.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, although there are numerous presales offered by Sirius Radio, Live Nation and American Express. The band's Zamily fan club can already purchase tickets.

VIP and travel packages are also available.

The tour will kick off in Mexico on Jan. 30, followed by stops in Ireland, Australia and the United States. Nearby, Zac Brown Band will perform in Milwaukee's Summerfest on July 1, Noblesville, Ind. on Aug. 25 and St. Louis on Aug. 27.

The eight-member country band has released six studio albums and is known for hits like "Chicken Fried" and "Loving You Easy."

In the 2011 music video for "Colder Weather" — a fitting tribute for a Chicago show — "Hunger Games" heartthrob Liam Hemsworth plays a trucker separated from his love while on the road.

Zac Brown Band will play two days after Green Day's Aug. 24 performance at Wrigley Field.

Along with Green Day, Wrigley Field summer concerts include Billy Joel (Aug. 11), Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (June 29), Dead & Company (June 30 and July 1) and James Taylor with Bonnie Raitt (July 17).

The Cubs and Wrigley Field are 95 percent owned by an entity controlled by a trust established for the benefit of the family of Joe Ricketts, owner and CEO of DNAinfo.com. Joe Ricketts has no direct involvement in the management of the iconic team.
