CHICAGO — At least three people were robbed Monday on the Near West Side, police said Tuesday.

In each incident, one to three robbers forcibly stole items. The attacks happened about 10:55 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of South Claremont Avenue, 11:25 a.m. in the 400 block of South Oakley Boulevard and 12:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Rice Street.

Victims described their attackers as black men in their late teens or early 20s, police said. The robbers wore dark clothing, were roughly 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall and weighed 150-185 pounds.

Officers believe the trio used a dark blue, black or grey four-door sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives and mention Alert No. P17-1-039.
