CHICAGO — Shootings killed four people and wounded 27 over the weekend, police said.

Eight people, including a 13-year-old boy and 69-year-old man, have been wounded in shootings since Sunday.

• At 11:52 p.m. Sunday, a 33-year-old woman was shot in Bronzeville, police said. The woman was a passenger in a car driving in the 5000 block of South Drexel Boulevard when she heard shots and felt pain.

The woman was shot in her back and a man drove her to Mercy Hospital, police said. She was transferred to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

• At 10:02 p.m., a 69-year-old man was shot in South Chicago, police said. The man was standing in an alley in the 2200 block of East 84th Street when a man walked up and said he was robbing the victim.

The victim tried to grab the man's gun and was shot in his chin and had his left hand grazed by a bullet, police said. He took himself to South Shore Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:02 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot in West Humboldt Park.

• At 8:14 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The boy was in the 7600 block of South Peoria when a dark-colored SUV pulled up next to him and someone inside the car fired shots at the boy.

The boy was hit in his left arm and taken to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 7:45 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in South Deering, police said. The man was sitting inside a car in the 9500 block of South Houston Avenue when a man got out of a dark-colored SUV in traffic and fired shots at him.

The victim was hit in his right arm and took himself to Trinity Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 5:29 p.m., a 38-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was in the 7400 block of South Kenwood Avenue when he and a person inside a dark-colored SUV got into an argument and the person took out a gun and fired shots.

The man was hit in his buttocks and took himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 4:59 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said. The man was in the 6400 block of South Sangamon Street when someone fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 6 a.m., a 49-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was in the 4200 block of West Roosevelt Road when someone walked up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit in his arms and leg and took himself to Rush Hospital, police said. He was transferred to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

No one was in custody in these shootings.

Shootings killed one person and wounded nine between Saturday and Sunday, and three people were killed and 10 wounded in shootings Friday to Saturday.
