CHICAGO — A 45-year-old man was shot during a robbery on the Near West Side on Thursday, police said.
At 5:30 p.m., the man was getting out of his car in the 2400 block of West Adams Street when a man walked up to him and started to rob him, police said.
The robber took out a gun and fired shots, hitting the victim in his right leg, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
No one was in custody.
