CHICAGO — Shootings killed three people and wounded 19 over the weekend, police said.

One person has been killed and 10 wounded since Sunday morning.

• At 9:30 p.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old man was shot to death in Garfield Ridge. A 29-year-old woman was wounded in the attack.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 12:05 a.m. Monday, a 40-year-old man and 39-year-old woman were shot in Avalon Park, police said. The two were inside a car in the 8200 block of South Blackstone Avenue when a man walked up and fired shots.

The woman was hit in her chest and taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition, police said. The man was hit in his left arm and taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:40 p.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking in the 200 block of South Cicero Avenue when people in a passing gray car fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his legs and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 11:15 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Morgan Park.

• At 10:05 p.m., a 31-year-old woman was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The woman was standing in an alley in the 7900 block of South Woodlawn Avenue when someone in dark clothing ran at her and fired shots.

The woman was hit in her left leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 5:35 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in his legs while in West Town.

• At 1:55 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was in the 1300 block of South Troy Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his left arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 12:10 p.m., a 42-year-old woman was wounded by gunfire in Belmont Cragin, police said. The woman was in a car at North Laramie Avenue and West George Street when someone walked out of a gangway and fired shots.

The woman was hit by bullet fragments and taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

The woman was not the intended target, a police source said.

• At 9:47 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was standing outside in the 2900 block of West Adams Street when someone in a red Jeep drove up and people inside the car fired shots.

The man was hit in his left shoulder and elbow and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.

Shootings wounded six people between Saturday and Sunday, and two people were killed and two wounded between Friday and Saturday.
