West Town Shooting Wounds Teen Hit In Both Legs, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in West Town wounded a 17-year-old on Sunday, police said.

At 5:35 p.m., the teen was walking down the street in the 600 block of North Racine Avenue when a dark-colored car drove by and someone in the back seat fired shots, police said.

The teen was hit in his left leg and took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
