CHICAGO — A shooting on the Near West Side wounded a 25-year-old man Wednesday, police said.
At 9:52 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of West Roosevelt Road when two men walked up and fired shots.
The man was hit in his left leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
