ANDERSONVILLE — Two Andersonville restaurants will close their doors this weekend.

In a newsletter inviting residents to visit one last time, Ombra, 5310 N. Clark St., and Acre, 5310 N. Clark St., announced the restaurants would be closing for good after dinner service Saturday.

"We are so grateful for the support the neighborhood has given us over the years, and we would love to see you one last time," the email said.

Ombra specializes in wood-fired pizza, handmade pastas and small Italian plates, according to its website.

Acre is known for its oyster bar and farm-to-table menu, according to its website.

The restaurants take up a large chunk of a busy Clark Street strip, and information about why they are closing and what might replace them was not immediately available.
