LOGAN SQUARE — One of Logan Square's newest luxury developments, dubbed the "L" building after its marketing campaign, is now up for sale. Not the units — the entire development.

Property Markets Group has hired multifamily brokerage firm KIG to market the property at 2211 N. Milwaukee Ave., according to a real estate listing.

The development, which sits at Milwaukee and Talman avenues, was built in 2016 after several years of planning and community debate.

At six stories, the building offers a mix of junior one-bedrooms, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and three-bedrooms — all with modern finishes. The rooftop was converted into an amenity deck complete with an old train car.

In the listing, KIG describes the development as "years ahead of other apartment buildings on Milwaukee Avenue."

"L exemplifies what new Logan Square apartments will seek to emulate," the listing reads.

Bisnow, which was first to report the news, said it appears the developer is "looking to cash out in a blistering hot multifamily climate."

It is unclear why the developer has chosen to sell. Noah Gottlieb with Property Markets Group didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
