CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded five since Wednesday, police said.

• At 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, a 34-year-old man was shot to death in Garfield Park.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 4:15 a.m. Thursday, a 50-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was warming his car in the 5000 block of West Ohio Street when two people pulled the man out of his car and said they were robbing him.

The pair took $100 from the man and shot him in the leg before running away, police said. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

• At 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 30-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was in an alley in the 7900 block of South Laflin when someone fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his left foot and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, a 16-year-old boy was shot in Englewood, police said. Officers responded to a call of a person shot and found the boy lying on the sidewalk in the 6800 block of South Green Street.

The boy was shot in his head and right leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

Four boys or men were seen driving away from the shooting in a black SUV, police said.

• At 12:14 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was in the 1500 block of South Komensky Avenue when he was shot in his right thigh.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 11:17 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Chatham, police said. The man was in the 8300 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when he was shot in his torso and arm.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No further information was immediately available.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
