BRONZEVILLE — De La Salle's Culinary Club will soon host its second annual Technique Dinner.

At 6:30 p.m. Friday, aspiring chefs in De La Salle's Culinary Arts and Hospitality Club will showcase their cooking skills in front of culinary school professionals.

Michael O'Shea, director of the American Culinary Federation Certified Culinary Program at Moraine Valley Community College, and Jeremy Tibbels, director of recruiting for Kendall College, plan to attend.

Tickets for the dinner at 3434 S. Michigan Ave. are $10. Admission includes two appetizers, a salad, a main entrée with two sides and a dessert.

The menu includes freshly made tortilla chips with pico de gallo and guacamole, flautas, taco salad in homemade tortilla bowls and enchiladas suizas with rice and beans. Dessert will be flan with churros.
