CHICAGO — Timothy Wade, 26, was shot to death in Near West Side early Sunday, officials said.
At 5:30 a.m., officers responding to a call of a person down found a man lying on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of West Van Buren Street. The man was shot in his head and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Wade, of the same block where he was killed, was pronounced dead at 5:50 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
