HUMBOLDT PARK — A Humboldt Park man has been charged with murdering 28-year-old Sergio Zaragoza in September, police said.

Tony T. Browley, of the 1000 block of North Kedzie Avenue, was charged with one felony count of murder, according to a police alert.

On Sept. 11 around 3 p.m., a verbal fight between Browley and Zaragoza in the 1600 block of North Karlov Avenue escalated when Browley took out a gun and fired shots, striking Zaragoza in his chest, according to police.

Zaragoza was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police later arrested Browley after identifying him as the shooter. He is expected to appear in bond court Thursday.

No further information was provided.
