• At 9:39 p.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was sitting in a parked car in the 5400 block of South Laflin Street when a man got out of a white SUV and fired shots at him.

The victim was hit in the back of his head and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was affiliated with a gang, a police source said.

No one was in custody.

Shootings killed one person and wounded five Saturday to Sunday morning, and another five people were wounded in shootings Friday to Saturday.
