WEST LOOP — Police were called to the scene of a dispute between accused serial rapist Marc Winner and his former landlord Saturday in the West Loop.

At about 5:06 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Winner's former tanning salon, Soleil Tanning, at 1018 W. Madison St. to settle a dispute between Winner and his former landlord Van Tomaras, Chicago Police and a law enforcement source confirmed.

No one was arrested in the incident, a Chicago Police spokesperson said.

The dispute stemmed from a disagreement over access to Winner's former salon, according to a law enforcement source.

This fall, landlord Tomaras worked to evict Winner's now-shuttered Soleil tanning salon from the storefront. A judge granted the eviction, and Winner had to leave the building by Saturday, Dec. 31.

Tomaras said he believes Winner no longer had legal access to the building after 5 p.m. Saturday, per the court order. He put a chain and padlock on the storefront's door to keep Winner out.

But Winner left his jacket inside the former salon, and wanted to retrieve the jacket, Tomaras' wife, Andrea Tomaras, said Sunday.

"We wouldn't let him in, and he and Van called the police," Andrea Tomaras said. "The police came and went in with Van and got [Winner's] jacket and asked him to leave."

With the eviction looming, Winner was spotted earlier this month at the former salon moving tanning beds into rental trucks parked outside.

"Hopefully we are done with him," Andrea Tomaras said.

Winner's defense attorney Steven J. Weinberg declined to comment Sunday.

Accused of raping at least four women, Winner is free on bond, but prosecutors have called him "a real and present threat to the physical safety of any woman."

Winner, now 46, has been charged with raping four women from 2009 to 2015. In three of the cases, the alleged victims were employees or customers at Winner's tanning salon, Soleil Tanning, 1018 W. Madison St., which was closed by the city in May.

Winner will next appear in court Jan. 27.
