Shootings Kill 1 Person, Wound 3 Since Thursday, Police Say

CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one man and wounded three since Thursday, police said.

• Most recently, at 1:07 a.m. Friday, a 30-year-old man was found shot to death in North Lawndale.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 10:05 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale just blocks from where the man would be killed hours later, police said.

The man was driving in the 1800 block of South Pulaski Road when someone in a light-colored car pulled alongside him and fired shots, police said.

The man was hit in his left arm and drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 7:20 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham.

• At 6:56 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The man was walking in the 1200 block of West 106th Street when someone in a black minivan driving past fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in his buttocks and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
