CHICAGO — Shootings left three people dead and 15 wounded since Monday, police said.

• At 8:34 p.m. Monday, a 17-year-old boy was shot dead during an attempted carjacking in Austin, police said.

• At 8:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot dead in Humboldt Park, police said.

• At 3:37 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot dead in Austin, police said.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, A 20-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were shot in South Austin, police said.

They were driving in the 800 block of North Menard Avenue when a vehicle pulled up alongside them and fired shots before fleeing, police said.

The woman and the man were both hit in their legs and were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

The man is a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 12:45 a.m., a 28-year-old woman was shot in Roseland, police said.

The woman was sitting in a parked car in the 9300 block of South LaSalle Street when someone came out of a home and fired shots.

She was hit in her stomach and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition.

• At 9:40 p.m. Monday, an 18-year-old and a 58-year-old women were shot in South Shore, police said.

They were walking on the sidewalk in the 7500 block of South Saginaw Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The 18-year-old was hit in her back and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition. The 58-year-old suffered two graze wounds to her chest and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in stable condition, police said.

• At 6:41 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said.

The man was standing on the 1800 block of South Kildare Avenue when someone walked up to him and fired shots, police said.

He hit in his arm and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition..

• At 5:34 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in the 8100 block of South Vincennes Avenue in Gresham, police said.

He took himself to St. Bernard's Hospital in stable condition.

• At 5 p.m., a 19-year-old was shot in Little Village, police said.

• At 2:15 p.m., a 27-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were shot in the 3500 block of West 16th Street in Lawndale, police said.

The 27-year-old was hit in his left leg and the 32-year-old was hit in his right arm, police said. Both were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.

• At 12:36 p.m., two 20-year-old men were shot in the 5700 block of West Augusta Boulevard in Austin, police said.

One of the men was hit in his right shoulder, and the other was hit in his groin, police said. They both took themselves to West Suburban Hospital in good condition.

• At 10:03 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in the 4400 block of West Adams Street in West Garfield Park, police said.

He was hit in his back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

• At 9:15 a.m., a 35-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were shot in the 1100 block of West 98th Street in Washington Heights, police said.

The woman was hit in her right arm and the man suffered a graze wound in the elbow, police said. They both took themselves to Roseland Hospital in stable condition.

No one was in custody.
