WEST LOOP — To celebrate the Cubs historic World Series win, one West Loop restaurant is offering free barbecue to Cubs fans Thursday.

Porkchop is giving away free barbecue sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the West Loop location, 941 W. Randolph St.

On Wednesday, the Randolph Street restaurant promised the free food on Twitter if the Chicago Cubs won the World Series. A Porkchop representative confirmed the free food offer Thursday morning.

Porkchop opened in the West Loop in 2011.

For the first time in 108 years, the Cubs won Game 7 of the World Series Wednesday night in Cleveland.
