ALBANY PARK — The newest addition to the Noon-O-Kabab family is like the t-shirt and jeans version of its three-piece-suited older sibling down the street.

The recently opened Noon-O-Kabab II, 4705 N. Kedzie Ave., will serve a nearly identical menu to the original, at 4661 N. Kedzie Ave., minus the white tablecloths, table service and alcohol.

According to general manager Elias Molina, the new location will be a delivery and pickup hub, although patrons are also encouraged to dine in and BYOB.

Noon-O-Kabab II will offer items such as French fries and falafel that aren't available at the swankier restaurant.

"The main thing is, it's the same quality food," Molina said.

Owner Mir Naghavi opened Noon-O-Kabab in 1997 with family members. He purchased the long-vacant adjacent property — a former KFC — in 2014 and has been renovating the building since.
