CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot dead in Tri-Taylor, said officer Michelle Tannehill.
At 3:05 a.m. Sunday, the man was found lying on the ground in the 2400 block of West Lexington Street, Tannehill said. He was hit in his back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
He has since been pronounced dead, Tannehill said.
