Near West Side Shooting Wounds Man, 25, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Near West Side left a 25-year-old man wounded early Saturday, police said.

At 12:30 a.m., the man was in the 2200 block of West Walnut Street when he was shot in his leg, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
