CHICAGO — Shootings have killed three people and wounded eight since Monday, police said.

• At 6:58 a.m. Tuesday, a man was shot to death in West Pullman.

• At 10:40 p.m. Monday, a 24-year-old man was shot to death in Englewood.

• At 8:50 p.m., one man was killed and four people wounded during a shooting in West Englewood. A 13-year-old boy was among the wounded.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 11:30 p.m. Monday, a 21-year-old man was shot in West Englewood, police said. The man was driving in the 5600 block of South Loomis Boulevard when a man got out of a black sedan and fired shots at him.

The man was hit twice in his back and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

• At 6:55 p.m., a 38-year-old man was shot in Austin, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was outside in the 700 block of North Lavergne Avenue when a man walked up, showed a gun and demanded everyone's money before firing shots.

The man was hit in his buttocks and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, Amezaga said.

• At 1:10 p.m., two men were shot in Douglas, Amezaga said. The men were walking in the first block of West 21st Street when a group of three men and one woman walked up and fired shots.

A 21-year-old man was hit in his face and neck and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, Amezaga said. A 27-year-old man was hit in his buttocks and was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

Three people were being questioned, Amezaga said.

The victims were documented gang members, police said.

Also, on Monday night, a 34-year-old man took himself to MacNeal Hospital after being shot at 1:45 a.m. Monday in the 1600 block of North Cicero Avenue in Austin, police said.

The man had been driving when he saw a man stopped in the intersection, police said. He honked his horn at the car and someone in the car fired shots at him, grazing the man's back.

No one was in custody.
