Video Of South Side A Cappella Group The Remedy Gets 3 Million Views

CHICAGO — A video showing R&B a cappella group The Remedy performing at a CTA station has gone viral.

The Remedy, whose members all grew up on the South Side, performed a mix of popular songs while standing in the Blue Line Jackson CTA station. The video was recorded and posted to Facebook, where it's been viewed more than 3 million times and shared more than 70,000 times.

People commenting on the video said the group of five men often perform in the subway. The Remedy has also appeared on "America's Got Talent."

"This is why I love Chicago," one person said. "Despite what [people] think of my [favorite] city, it's really a culture city with a lot of history behind it. And of course raw talent!"
