NEAR WEST SIDE — From a rocking Oktoberfest celebration in Pilsen to an arts-focused Dose Market in the West Loop, here are our top picks of things to do and see on the Near West Side this weekend. 

Blocktoberfest at Dusek's — The second annual Oktoberfest celebration outside Thalia Hall celebrates Dusek's third anniversary in the neighborhood with beer, music, bocce ball, games, rye pretzel roles and more fun. Ralphi Rosario of the Hot Mix 5 headlines the DJ tent at the family-friend block party. Free. Noon-10 p.m. Sunday, Thalia Hall, 18th and Allport, Pilsen. 

312 Urban Block Party at Goose Island — The block party outside of Goose Island's Near West Side brewery features a great lineup of bands across two stages, specialty Goose Island beers, a jort (jean short) DIY station, food trucks and more. From rare beers — including wet-hop IPA Sticky Feathers made just for the party — to popular classics, like 312 Urban Wheat Ale, all brews are $3 at the fest. Free, $10 suggested donation benefits group of charities. Gates open at 5 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday, Goose Island Brewery, 1800 W. Fulton St., Near West Side. 

Dose Arts By Dose Market — Dose Market returns to the West Loop with Dose Arts, an art-focused marketplace bringing 80 top makers, artists and entrepreneurs together in one place Sunday. Two dozen of those vendors will make their Dose Market debut. Tickets $10, kids under 12 free. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Morgan Manufacturing, 401 N. Morgan St., West Loop. 

Randolph Street Market in West Loop  The indoor/outdoor urban antiques market returns to the neighborhood, featuring eight acres of unique vintage, antique and artisan finds. Be on the lookout for special mid-century modern treasures this month. $10 at the gate, kids free. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Plumbers Hall, 1340 W. Washington St., West Loop.

West Loop Yard Sale at Skinner Park — The neighborhood yard sale features new and used Halloween and Christmas decorations, clothes, toys, antiques, furniture and more. All proceeds benefit Skinner Park. Free. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Skinner Park, 1331 W. Monroe St., West Loop. 

UIC Open House — Prospective students, alums and neighbors are invited to attend this UIC campus open house featuring more than 100 activities, including faculty talks on current topics, lab and studio demonstrations and family-friendly activities on the quad. Registration is online. Free. 8:30-2 p.m. Saturday, UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road, University Village. 

Green City Market West Loop — The West Loop's outdoor farmers market brings fresh produce to the neighborhood and artisan treats every Saturday through the summer. Free. 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Mary Bartelme Park, 115 S. Sangamon St., West Loop. 

Pilsen Community Market — Pilsen's weekly outdoor farmers market features homemade tamales, fresh produce and so much more. Free. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, 1800 S. Halsted St., Pilsen.
